A large, handmade terracotta bowl that has been hand painted with an eye-catching splatter design in two shades of blue. This deep bowl can be used as both a salad/fruit bowl or as a serving bowl, adding plenty of character to a kitchen or tabletop.
Designed by Casa Cubista, a company driven by a passion for craft, heritage and contemporary design. The ceramics range is all handmade in the Portuguese fishing town of Olhão by a family that have been in the pottery business for 200 years. Rui throws the pottery on his wheel before it is hand painted by his aunt Regina. This bold and colourful pottery brings together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design.
Before first use, wash the bowl in hot soapy water, rinse well and allow to air dry.
To maintain the integrity of the pieces (i.e. colour and glaze) dishwasher and microwave use is not recommended.
As all pieces are handmade and hand painted, there may be slight changes in each piece and slight colour variations. Some marks in the glaze are natural and expected, as is some crazing. This will not affect the use and durability of the pieces.
Made from glazed terracotta. White glaze with blue speckles. Terracotta base.
