Black Footed Bowl, designed by Sharron Page Stocks of Dor and Tan in collaboration with eco-chef Tom Hunt. This bowl is a lovely size for porridge, soup, and salads. The glaze is a soft matte black, which instantly makes it stand out and hold its own at the table.
Dor and Tan began with a desire to break away from the disposability of modern life, to create objects with a more personal connection. Founders Sharron, Peter, Matthew and Viola aim to bring handcrafted items to people, that have a unique soft character which cannot be created any other way than by the hand of a maker.
Based in Cornwall, the process of making is slow and thoughtful. Each object is thrown by hand from clay sourced locally and fired using green energy. These traditional processes make every piece unique, no two objects will be identical.
